70cl / 46% - The second entry in the Ardbeg Anthology series offers a vibrant, citrus forward take on this iconic single malt with notes of lime zest, soft fruits, menthol and sweet peat. This combination of flavours was achieved by maturing Ardbegs instantly recognisable spirit in bourbon barrels and Madeira casks. The aromatic spiciness and bright acidity of this Portuguese fortified wine brings a welcome freshness to this heavily peated single malt that runs from the palate through to a long, smoky finis.
